Day 148

It was a very cold morning, as the drop in temperature woke all of us up before our normal wake up time. The only way to warm up was to make a hot coffee and start moving around. The sun made its appearance on our way up to Glacier Pass, our lunch spot, but soon hid behind the clouds as we laid our tents and quilts to dry.

It was an unexpected multiple switchbacks after that brought us on top of the ridge, where another amazing view greeted us. Canada was always within eyesight.

Our night ended at Hart's Pass, where we saw a some thru hikers that just returned from the Northern Terminus. What an achievement!

That night we joined the Blue Crew for dinner, consisting of Daydream, Yolo, Button, Silver Fox, Captain, Linus, and Waterboy. This has to be the funnest trail family that I've met on the trail. The beautiful sunset was the backdrop as we ate dinner, and drank cheap beer courtesy of trail magic. The skies cleared up and the stars took over the dark sky. The Blue Crew discussed Trail Superlatives, announcing the winner in each each category, such as the best clown, the best fart... It was an entertaining night.
