Day 69

Mile Marker 900!!! Wooop Woop! We weren't even planning on celebrating here but since it's here, why not!

Also Mammoth Lakes! We're finally here. As much as we love being in the backcountry, we also enjoy getting back in civilization. Just the thought of normal food excites me. First destination was food, what else! As we ate pizza, chicken wings, and salads at John's Pizza Works, the rain came in. We just made it to town on time!

Then time for our chores as soon as we checked in to the Motel 6. We all just need a bed, nothing fancy at this point. After a nice refreshing shower, putting on clean clothes, and some rests, our appetite was craving for some more good food. And we ended up at Thai'd Up. It was great, as Blis' sister, Allegra, who lives in Bishop, decided to join us. Other hiker friends also joined us as well. It was so much fun. It's like we're a little moving community along the trail towns.

As the sun set, we all felt tired and sleepy. It's tough adjusting to life in the civilization sometimes, as our day in the backcountry starts early and ends early. All of us, except for Airplane Mode, all crashed in our small motel room.
