Introduction

Hi. My name is "Happy Feet," a trail name I earned when I thru-hiked the Pacific Crest Trail in 2017. I'm a traveling nurse as well. I like the appeal of being in the wilderness for an extended amount of time.

My first long distance hike was the John Muir Trail in 2016. Ever since, I've fallen in love with long distance hiking. After the PCT, I mainly did road trips all over the states including Alaska and Canada, as well as short backpacking trips.

In 2020, I did the Te Araroa in New Zealand northbound, which unfortunately ended unexpectedly. I was only able to finish the South Island because of the pandemic. In 2021, I did the Tahoe Rim Trail and the Colorado Trail NoBo.
