Day 121

Zero #6. Ah, another reunion.

From Crater Lake where I left them, Blis and Trailname hiked all the way to Elk Lake, and now we're all in Bend. We grabbed lunch at the Crux Fermentation Project, a local brewpub, rewarded with a free beer for being a PCT hiker. We then headed to the AirBnB house we rented for the night, where Trailname and I spent the afternoon watching a marathon of Jurassic Park, while Blis and his wife did errands. We enjoyed our last big town stop by having dinner at Deschutes Brewery, again. It was nice not to do anything, as tomorrow morning we head to Timberline Lodge, grab the breakfast buffet, and start hiking, onward to Canada.
