Day 127

What a wonderful view to wake up to at 5am as I make my morning coffee; the starry skies and the moonlit lake. We camped on the beach at Bear Lake last night and it was a relaxing place to be. Today was a fantastic day, picking huckleberries to start the morning.

The theme of the day has to be the trail magic, oh how we've missed having one. After ten miles, we encountered the first trail magic courtesy of Gear Up. Tacos, sodas, and an aptly named beer called PCT Porter. It was deliciously great!

As we were leaving, a trail angel couple also joined in to provide more trail magic. After ten more miles, two more trail magic appeared before us. The first was a bin full of chips and snacks.

And then Bliss' wife and her friends had set up a trail magic. We enjoyed the chili dogs, corn bread, beer, soda, and desserts, including ice cream and cup cake. We were then joined by hikers who flipped to the border and advice us to slow down on the next section as it is amazingly gorgeous. We stayed in a room above the grocery store in Trout Lake, where we had a movie night to end our day.
