Day 32

Today is one of the hottest day in a while. With less than 3 miles to go before hitting the highway to get to Casa De Luna, I decided to take a little siesta. It was necessary to cool down, relax, and let my feet breathe to prevent blisters.

After hitching at the highway, I arrived at Casa de Luna. This is a unique stop on the PCT.

Terry Anderson of Casa De Luna

The theme in this little trail town is putting on a Hawaiian shirt, or anything hippie, and then dancing to get a PCT Class of 2017 bandana. Since it's all about going hippie, I thought it would be fun to put on a hippie dress with a scarf, which looks very interesting with the V-neck tan line.

We all enjoyed the delicious dinner tacos. And with a band playing, tonight was a very alive night. Everyone was just so happy. And finally I had my opportunity to earn my PCT bandana by dancing. Sometimes, you just have to have fun, and not think. Then later I retreated to the forests, decorated with hand painted rocks by fellow thru hikers, to let our always tired body rest.

Harvest and Nature Monster just having a blast!

I definitely earned this bandana!
