Day 35
It was "mostly downhill" as we made our way towards the desert floor in what will be the next section of Southern California, the Mojave Desert.
It does not help when the temperature was intensely hot. I've been day dreaming of a nice meaty burger and cold soda and it was satisfied upon arriving at the WeeVill Grill Market. The PCT burger was very delicious! This place was also our chosen campground for tonight. Free camping, shower, and easy access to food was hard to turn down. It was right beside the highway and cars passing throughout the night was quite different than the serene camping in the mountains. I prefer the latter much better as my brain I did not get the proper rest needed because of the highway noise.
