Day 38
It was a short 8 miles to Hwy 58 where we hitched to the town of Tehachapi. Honestly, this is one of those sections that can easily be skipped by some as you are not really missing anything.
It was nice to stay in an air-conditioned room and sleep on a bed. After a refreshing shower and freshly laundered clothes, we headed out to a fast-food chain to fill our starving bodies. Today's agenda was just relaxing and we rested the afternoon in our room drinking cold beer and watching movies. A trip to the local pizza place for dinner was a chance to meet up fellow hikers in town.
