Day 125

A steep climb to start the day brought us above the clouds. We then got a gorgeous final view of Cascade Locks and the Columbia River before the trail steered towards north. Later in the morning we were amongst the clouds, as sporadic rain dropped along and around the trail. It was a unique experience, as sometimes I hear rain just right beside me, but it's completely dry where I was hiking. And for a moment, I thought this was Washington was gonna be like from here on. We hiked in the temperate forest, with lush trees and greeneries. Our lunch spot was like a scene from Jurassic Park. I gotta say I'm liking Washington.
