Day 80

Blis leading the trail down the chute.

It been a long time since we entered the Sierra that we actually kept our feet dry for the entire day. An early morning start up the saddle brought us down a snow chute and we are glad we still kept our microspikes.

The scenery in this section is just unbelievable. Unique rock formations surrounds us, like spheres and hoodoos. Spring is in the air as colorful flowers become more prominent.

Caitlin, Airplane Mode and Indigo right behind us

Noble Lake

Pretty amazing section of the trail. Cool tree too!

Looking back where we came from

A big snow field drooped over the trail so we had to downclimbed some rocks
and picked up the trail on the other side.

We met the first PCT flip floppers, Extra Tough and Aquaman. They started ten days earlier from the Southern Terminus, and exited at Kearsarge before jumping to Belden. It's amazing that the trail can change in a few days.

It is also on this section that a hiker from gave me a colorful ribbon that I attached to my pack. I see it as a good luck charm.

Pretty cool section I must say
