Day 31

I joined Alpaca and Cactus as they entertained the chickens at Hiker Heaven as we waited till the afternoon before heading out in the trail.

More people started to come in early, getting their tours, as we pack up and start planning the next section of the trail. It's a busy Memorial Day at the Mexican restaurant and we enjoyed our last regular big meal before resorting back to our backpacking meals.

It's a bit sad leaving Hiker Heaven. That night we hiked to the top of the mountain and slept under the beautiful stars, and I am reminded instantly why I hike, and why this trail is so beautiful.
